The Winery @Rossendale
Rossendale's wines are made with an emphasis on the primary fruit characteristics. Oak treatment for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir is subtle. The wines are to be enjoyed with food at any time of the day.
Production
Blenheim vineyard harvest was completed by 11 April. A very good growing season resulted in grapes that where in perfect condition at harvest time. All ferments are proceeding smoothly and first bottling for Sauvignon Blanc is booked for mid June 2011.
The Halswell vineyard was harvested on 28/29 April with good quality fruit which is now being turned into wine at Lone Goat Winery, Burnham.
5% of Rossendale's production is sold through The Restaurant @ Rossendale Restaurant and The Vineyard @ Rossendale Weddings and Events Centre. The balance is exported to UK, Ireland, Scotland, China and USA.
