Thank you for considering Lansdowne Homestead for your special day. The following information will help answer some of your questions. Our experienced staff are available to personally show you around the property. We look forward to being able to help make your wedding day a “A Dream Come True”. Costs All prices are GST inclusive. #1 Booking Fee $1,800.00 #2 Public Holiday Booking Fee $2,500.00 #3 Food Menus range from $55 to $70 per guest #4 Beverage Service Average spend $35 per guest. Capacity: Minimum: 60 adult guests Maximum: for a seated meal 100 guests, for a buffet meal, 90 guests Access: Lansdowne is open all year Daytime/Lunch Functions Entry to site from 10.00am. Bar closes at 4.30pm with departure for all guests by 5pm. Evening Functions Entry from 3.00pm. Bar closes at 11.30pm with departure for all guests by Midnight. Pencil Bookings Pencil bookings will be held for two weeks only. If another enquiry is received within that time we will contact you. Confirmation, by paying of the booking fee, will be required at this point. Confirmation of Booking Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the quoted booking fee. A letter of confirmation will be sent along with some information to assist with the planning of your special day. The booking fee covers:
* Please note: the booking fee is not a deposit and is not deducted from your final account. Cancellation policy In the event of a cancellation up to 6 months prior to your wedding date, 50% of the booking fee less $100 administration costs will be refunded immediately. The balance will be refunded only if another booking takes your cancelled date. In the event of a cancellation within 6 months of your wedding date the booking fee will not be refunded. If the event of a cancellation within 7 days of your wedding date the booking fee will not be refunded and you will be charged 50% of the total food account. Planning You are required to make an appointment with our Lansdowne manager at least 6 weeks before your special day. This meeting takes between one and two hours and is used to plan the details required to provide you with an enjoyable and stress free wedding day at Lansdowne. At this meeting you decide on your timetable of events, menu, beverages and all other special requirements. You will then be sent a letter confirming all the details discussed at the planning meeting. This letter is our contract with you for your special day. Food and Beverages There are no provisions to supply your own food or beverages. We are able to help you design a menu appropriate for your day. Vegetarians and guests with special dietary requirements can be catered for. Your choice of menu and beverage items will determine the cost of your special day. Final Numbers & Payment Confirmed final numbers attending your function are required on the Monday prior to your event. You are then invoiced for your food account on your confirmed numbers. Payment of this invoice is to be made by the Thursday prior to your function. The bar account is presented after the bar closes and is to be paid immediately. Music and Dancing: Provisions for music and dancing are limited. Before booking any entertainers you must check their suitability with our Manager. Lansdowne has a strict noise policy. All music must finish at 11.30pm. Transport To avoid any lengthy waiting at late hours we recommend your guests pre book transport. Decorations Each Lansdowne wedding is set in a classical and elegant manner. Any intention to decorate or thie your wedding must be discussed with the manager. All decorations must be rioved at the completion of your function. The Hirer must cover any damage to Lansdowne. Gifts These may be left overnight at your own risk. The property is locked and alarmed. Arrangement will need to be in place to collect the gifts the following day. Helpful Suggestions We have many contacts ie: marriage celebrants, cake decorators, photographers etc plus numerous suggestions to help with the planning of your “special day”.
