Detective John Borlase
Our Ladies at Lunch speaker today was Detective John Borlase from the Christchurch Police. John is a Police Officer with 44 years service and is the longest serving CIB member in the NZ Police.
John entertained the ladies with details about his early life, growing up & joining the Police, the ups & downs of his personal & professional life and some amusing details about high profile cases he has been involved with over his career.
For lunch the Ladies enjoyed a duo of pork on kumera mash, with a panache of roast vegetable and apple jus; followed by a spicy pumpkin cheescake with maple cream and berry couli which left them licking their lips.
These lunches are held once a month throughout the
Winter/Spring period and are a fabulous day out with other fine women, enjoying exquisite food and wine. An opportunity to network and meet new friends!
